Justice Reinvestment is an approach that aims to tackle the underlying factors contributing to the high representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals within the justice system. 

Justice Reinvestment is a community-driven, empowerment-based strategy that seeks to redirect individuals' involvement away from the justice system by addressing the root causes of crime, such as poverty, unemployment, and homelessness, rather than resorting to incarceration.
