Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation is the organisation that represents the Native Title Holders of Alice Springs. We are the landowners and the custodians. Please show respect to our Country.

We welcome people to visit Alice Springs but we want them to behave in a respectful manner as we, the Native Title Holders ask you to respect our Country as we respect yours.

If you are coming into Alice Springs for a visit, you should make a plan for your return trip.

The Todd River (Lhere) is very important for the Mparntwe, Irlpme and Antulye Estate group members. Visitors should not camp in the river, leave rubbish around or burn our trees.

Please don’t waste your children’s money, DON’T GAMBLE or use it on GROG.

Everyone who lives, visits or works in Alice Springs has the responsibility to keep it clean and tidy.

Arrernte culture: keeping it strong.

Respect Arrernte people, don’t bring your family fights to Alice Springs, keep them in your own Country. Arrernte Elders give the message: ‘Respect people, don’t throw stones at people, cars or trains and don’t rubbish our Country. We can't rubbish yours’.

Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation’s On Country Protocols are available to order as pull up banners with two designs available. The banners are $300 + GST each.
