LAAC hosted the visiting Cranebrook High School Clontarf Academy Thursday 17th November 2022 at our office with CEO Graeme Smith.

The students presented to LAAC their story and hopes for their people in an end of year school trip to Central Australia.

Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation is proud to host the first Anwerne-Kenhe Alterreke Atnyentyeke Keep Our Ways Strong (KOWS) Interschool Event on Tuesday 5 August 2025 at Yirara College. The event will bring together students from Yirara College, Yipirinya School, and St Joseph’s Catholic Flexible School for a day of culture, sport, leadership, and community connection. In the lead-up to the event, students have been working on their entries for the KOWS Logo Design Competition – creating artwork that represents the message “Keep Our Ways Strong.” The winning design will be unveiled on the day, with prizes generously supported by local organisations, including Alice Springs Town Council and Yeperenye Shopping Centre. This event builds on the success of our recent KOWS NAIDOC celebration and continues our commitment to hearing from young people, strengthening cultural identity, and supporting safe and strong communities.
